Women's cuts typically take 45-60 minutes, men's haircuts and fades 30-45 minutes, single-process color 90 minutes to 2 hours, and partial or full highlights and balayage 2-4 hours depending on hair length and desired result. Color correction can take up to 6 hours. You'll receive an estimated duration when you book, and we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early.

Yes, we strongly recommend a consultation for first-time color clients, anyone making a major change (like going lighter, removing previous color, or correction work), and anyone with a color history that includes box dye or keratin treatments. Consultations take 15-20 minutes, are free of charge, and can be done in person or by phone. During the consultation your stylist will assess your hair, discuss your goals, and give you accurate pricing and timing.

Highlights are painted onto sections of hair and wrapped in foils, producing bright, uniform, high-contrast dimension from root to tip. Balayage is a freehand hand-painting technique that creates soft, sun-kissed color that's brighter on the ends and more natural at the roots. Balayage has a softer, lower-maintenance grow-out (every 12-16 weeks), while foil highlights typically need a touch-up every 6-10 weeks. Your colorist will help you choose based on your lifestyle and the look you want.

Bring 2-3 inspiration photos showing styles, colors, or cuts you love so your stylist clearly understands your vision. Arrive with clean, dry hair unless your stylist has specifically instructed otherwise, and avoid heavy oils or styling products. First-time clients should plan to arrive 15 minutes early to complete intake paperwork, review your hair history (previous color, chemical treatments, medications that can affect hair), and discuss your daily styling routine.

Yes. We offer deep conditioning masks, Olaplex bond-repair treatments, Brazilian blowouts, and keratin smoothing treatments to rebuild damaged hair. For chemically compromised hair we often pair a protein-moisture balancing treatment with a hydrating gloss. Your stylist will evaluate your hair during the consultation and recommend the right treatment plan, along with take-home products to maintain results between visits.

Yes. Our colorists are trained in color matching and can seamlessly blend root touch-ups, gray coverage, or faded highlights to your existing color. After your first color service with us we keep detailed formula notes in your client file so every future visit produces consistent, predictable results, even if you see a different stylist.

Yes. Whitney Lawson, our licensed esthetician, offers customized facials, microneedling, chemical peels, dermaplaning, lash lifts and tints, and brow shaping and tinting. These services are performed in a dedicated treatment room and can be booked on their own or paired with hair services for a full beauty day. We are primarily an appointment-based salon and barbershop so we can dedicate proper time to every guest.
